This artwork created for Peel High School is a visual story of connection, celebrating the people, spirit of learning and Country that hold the school community together.

The flowing forms reflect the surrounding landscape, drawing inspiration from the mountain ranges and the life-giving waters of the Peel River. Layered patterns and pathways represent the journeys of students, families and generations who come together within the school, each bringing their own knowledge, strength and story.

The natural elements speak to resilience, growth and connection, reflecting the way both Country and community are shaped over time through care, respect and shared experience.

At its heart, the artwork celebrates belonging — recognising Peel High School as more than a place of education, but a meeting place where culture, identity and future aspirations are nurtured, grounded in Country and carried forward together.

It is always an honour to see my artwork out in the community, sharing culture, creating connection and contributing to spaces that are meaningful to the people who use them.
